Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 10, 2026

AnythingClipboard is built on a simple principle: your clipboard data is yours. We do not collect it, store it on servers, or share it with anyone — ever.

1. Information We Collect

AnythingClipboard does not collect any personal information. The app operates entirely on your device.

Clipboard history — including text and images you copy — is stored locally on your Mac and never transmitted to any server, third party, or external service.

2. How Your Data Is Used

All data processed by AnythingClipboard stays on your device. Specifically:

3. Permissions

AnythingClipboard requires access to your clipboard in order to monitor and save copied content. This is the core function of the app. This access is used solely within the app and on your device.

No other system permissions are requested or required.

4. Data Storage

Your clipboard history is stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS storage mechanisms. You can clear your clipboard history at any time directly within the app using the "Clear All" or "Clear Unpinned" buttons.

Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data.

5. Third-Party Services

AnythingClipboard does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. There are no third parties that receive your data.

6. Children's Privacy

AnythingClipboard does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. As the app collects no data at all, it is safe for use by all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
